  • Crack Sealants grading and characterizations using DSR, BBR, RV, Cohesion and Adhesion test.
  • Asphalt Binder Grading and Characterization using Superpave testing on binders (Rheological parameters, frequency sweep, master curve, creep compliance, aging on RTFO)
  • Conventional testing on asphalt cement (penetration, ductility, softening point, specific gravity, flash and fire point, spot test, binder recovery, etc)
  • Superpave and Marshall Methods of mix design and relevant binders and asphalt mix testing, compaction etc.
  • Performance testing on asphalt mixes (wheel tracker, uniaxial & diametric testing on UTM-5P, dynamic modulus of mixes on NU-14, Fracture Testing, IDT Creep, four point beam fatigue testing, accelerating polishing machine, British pendulum testing, Benkelman beam, centrifuge extraction, etc)
  • Characterization of soil (sieve analysis, hydrometer, soil classification, density, triaxial testing, unconfined, confined, more circles, CBR, Mr., SPT, DCP, Pile load test, Vane shear test etc)
  • Field testing (cores extraction, thickness measurement, FWD Modulus Back-calculations, extraction, profilograph, surface rut measurements, PCI, etc).

Pavement Design & Vetting Experience

Involved in vetting of pavement designs and Job Mix Formula’s of HMA in numbers of projects throughout Pakistan, some are listed below.

Pavement Design:

  1. Design of Flexible Pavement of “Restoration and Improvement of Canal Sections, Structures and Road along Warsak Lift Canal Length = 57,700ft” Warsak Canal Division, Department of Irrigation, K.P.K.
  2. Design of Rigid Pavement at Railway Goods Yards, Lahore, 1.5Km, Pakistan Railway.
  3. Flexible Pavement Design of Dualization of Makhdoom Interchange (M-2) to Sargodha Length = 39.2Km (Pavement Design). Provincial Higway Circle, Sargodha.
