Postgraduate:

  • Presenter Stress Analysis using Physiological Signals
  • Scalabale and Reliable delivery of Multimedia Content over Wireless Networks
  • QoS Implementation in WiMAX Simulator
  • Performance enhancement of end-to-end quality of service in WCDMA wireless networks
    • This reseach proposed user satisfaction architecture for packed-switched services in 3rd generation cellular networks for end-to-end Quality of Service (QoS) provisioning in Diffserv IP network environment. It focused on mapping of QoS classes from Diffserv to UMTS, Admission control, Buffering and scheduling.
  • Implementation and Hardware Optimization for Real Time Target Tracking
    • In this research “TMS320DM642 evaluation module with TVP video decoders” DSP embedded board is used to implement real time tracking algorithm. DSP hardware has limited recourse, so to achieve real time target tracking some hardware optimization techniques are also implemented.

  • AES Hardware Design And Implementation For Constraint Devices
    • This research proposed an intermediate low cost and area efficient design with high data rate and throughput which resulted in efficient implementation for area constraint devices like RFID, WSN and smart cards.

  • Implementation of Class-Based Low Latency Fair Queueing (CBLLFQ) packet scheduling algorithm for HSDPA core Network
    • This project proposed an enhanced mechanism to provide a guaranteed Quality of Service (QoS) to real-time traffic in High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) core network. For an enhanced QoS, a Class-Based Low Latency Fair Queueing (CBLLFQ) packet scheduling algorithm was introduced in this work.

  • Perceptual Scalable Multiple Description Video Coding
    • In the proposed scheme the region of interest is found by global contrast based visual saliency model. Different refinement layers of each description from the MDSQ-SR are chosen for interested and uninterested regions of image. The proposed scheme is evaluated under lossless channel conditions.

  • Fake news detection (In-progress)
    • This research will address the problem of discovering fake news while extracting the ground truth using a time series analysis of previous related news.
